Assistant Commissioner's Welcome

Thank you for visiting the Office of Adult Education (OAE) website. Our primary responsibility is providing adult education training programs for approximately 50,000 Georgia citizens. Ultimately, we seek to provide high-quality service and support to equip students and communities with the credential and supports that are necessary to thrive in the 21st century economy.

While we are also responsible for dissemination and oversight of state and federal dollars, we view our role as more than compliance regulators. We are committed to serving our students, instructors, program sites, and testing centers with excellent customer service- through curated, robust academic resources, user-friendly administrator toolkits, and clear and concise information for all stakeholders.

I hope that our Office of Adult Education website provides exceptional support for our statewide audience as they prove that amazing things happen when potential meets opportunity!

Cayanna,
