PD Event Registration Page

    Program faculty and staff who want to participate in an event are to coordinate with their program leadership to receive authorization to attend. Additional information is provided on an event’s registration form and includes event details such as location, start and end times, as well as the registration fee amount per person and directions for payment submission, when applicable. Please send registration forms in their original file format to Kynshasa McDaniel (kmcdaniel@tcsg.edu).

    Adult Educator Institutes – Spring 2018

    The Spring institutes will be held regionally throughout Georgia and include three days of workshop. Registrants may elect to attend all three days or select specific days to attend if not attending the entire institute. The workshops planned for the institutes are listed below. An agenda for each workshop will be accessible from this page by mid-January.

    • Institute Day 1 (Tuesday): Scientific Inquiry and the GED Science Test Workshop
    • Institute Day 2 (Wednesday): The Essentials of Classroom Conversations and Discussions Workshop
    • Institute Day 3 (Thursday): Building Knowledge and Understanding for the GED Social Studies Test Workshop<

    NCFL Online Standards Course – Spring 2018

    Courses begin February 5 and end March 23, 2018. Courses include Unit 1: Understanding the College- and Career-Readiness Standards and Unit 2: Using the CCR Standards In the Adult Education Classroom. Completion of Unit 1 is a prerequisite for enrollment in Unit 2. At least fifteen must enroll statewide to meet registration requirements for a course to begin.
